There are two Divisions in the Consultancy and Extensions Services Department viz: Consultancy Section; and Extensions Section<\/p>\n

ZONAL OFFICES<\/strong><\/p>\n

The CES department supervises the Zonal Offices situated in each of the six geo-political zones of the country as follows:<\/p>\n

South-South \u2013 Uyo<\/p>\n

South-East \u2013 Nnewi<\/p>\n

South-West \u2013 Lagos<\/p>\n

North-Central \u2013 Jos<\/p>\n

North-East \u2013 Gombe<\/p>\n

North- West \u2013 Kano<\/p>\n

  1. Mandate of the Department<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The dissemination and commercialization of R&D results and technological innovations in the institute rests squarely on the shoulders of this Department.\u00a0 The Department is further responsible for the promotion of consultancy and extension services of the institute.<\/p>\n

    The zonal offices are to act as Liaison\/outreach offices for the institute at various locations of the country. Its main functions are:<\/p>\n

    1. Establishing linkages with end users especially at the grassroots;<\/li>\n
    2. Coordinating activities of the institute at the geopolitical zones.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
