Prof. Samson Duna on Thursday 5th of May 2022 joyfully received delegates from ASQ Development and Training Services Limited in his office at the Institute\u2019s Administrative Head Office in Abuja when the delegates visited <em><strong>NBRRI<\/strong><\/em> for the signing of Memorandum of Understanding between the two parties.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Speaking at the event, the leader of the delegates, Mr. Akinlosotu Adebowale Blessing who is also the president of the National Youth Council stated that the MoU is to seal the collaboration between both parties in area of empowerment and training of youths on construction skills and various trades within the country. He explained that the collaboration is not just between <strong>NBRRI<\/strong> and <em><strong>ASQ<\/strong><\/em>, but <em><strong>Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC)<\/strong><\/em> is part of the collaboration. He emphasized that <em><strong>NDDC<\/strong><\/em>, the major player seeks the involvement of NBRRI in this great drive of building the nation; stating that <strong>NBRRI<\/strong> being one of the best Agency in the country in area of Research, Development and Innovation and has been providing a lot in training of Artisans in the country and bringing research work that are of international standards has all it takes to actualize this dream of making Artisans in the construction environment be of international reputes.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Speaking on the journey so far in actualizing the signing of the <strong>MoU<\/strong>, <em><strong>Engr. Prof. Samson Duna<\/strong><\/em> stressed on the important role <em><strong>NDDC<\/strong><\/em> and <em><strong>ASQ<\/strong><\/em> limited have played and will be playing in youth empowerment. He also acknowledged the international recognition of ASQ being an international organization with its Headquarter based in the United Kingdom; explained that <em><strong>NBRRI<\/strong><\/em> agreed to go into the collaboration because of the great work ASQ has done and the quality of training that will be rendered with the internationally recognized certificate that will be issued to the trained Artisans at the end of the training.
