On Monday 14th February 2022 was another great day to remember in the union of collaboration for greater construction environment between the Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI) and RITVALUE Consultants when the Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of NBRRI, Engr. Prof. Samson Duna and some management staff of the institute paid a courtesy visit to RITVALUE Consultants to further strengthened the existing relationship between both parties.
Welcoming the DG and his team, the President/CEO of RITVALUE Consultants, Dr. Taofiq Raimi appreciated the selfless service and humility of Prof. Samson Duna who despite his busy schedule find time to pay a visit to them just for the purpose of actualizing perfect end results and better working relationship in Research and Development which are geared towards the growth of the country’s economy.
Speaking further, Dr. Raimi expressed satisfaction towards the level of success achieved by NBRRI and RITVALUE since June 1st, 2021 when both parties began the process of signing an MoU. He also stated that the collaboration between NBRRI and RITVALUE is very significant because it will help to bridge the existing cap between the government and the public for there has been poor collaborations between industries (Private Sector) and government MDAs.
Finally, he stressed on the need to complete the process of the MoU and to commence the Implementation Plan.
Speaking on the visit made, Prof. Duna stated that the courtesy call is more of a familiarization tour so as to know the strength and environment of RITVALUE. He then expressed his appreciation towards the success achieved by RITVALUE so far in area of Research and Development. He further outlined some possible areas of future research collaborations such as staff exchange programme, use of equipment and laboratories for research findings, research on the reason why so much unoccupied houses in Abuja and possible solutions to such, research on standardization of materials and so on.
Finally, he promised maximum collaboration and support with RITVALUE and promised to speed up the process of the Implementation Plan of the MoU.
