The Kano State government has expressed readiness to patronize the services of Nigerian Building and Road Research Institute (NBRRI).
This was disclosed by the Commissioner of Works, Kano State, Hon. Engr. Mu’azu Magaji while receiving some representative members of the Institute in his office lead by NBRRI Kano Zonal Coordinator Mr. Moyi M. Zayyan.
The Hon. Commissioner stressed that, the state Ministry of Works is always ready to consider NBRRI for Consultancy Services and Supervision of its works in order to enjoy the benefit of technological advancement possesses by the Institute.
He also commended the efforts of the current leadership of the Institute for reviving the R&D and reiterates commitment for partnership with NBRRI.
Speaking earlier, the NBRRI Kano State Zonal Coordinator Mr. Moyi M. zayyan said, they were at the Ministry to seek for the collaboration as the two parties are relevant stakeholders and also to discuss the activities of the Institute.He said NBRRI attains high level of modern technology and it has the capacity and expertise to consult and supervise projects at high level.
The NBRRI Kano Zonal Coordinator continue by saying that, the Institute has modern laboratory with full of equipment where research is carried out before embarking into any construction activity under their supervision.
